Green Power Smoothie

This is what I call my 'starting fresh' smoothie. What I noticed when I started drinking it regularly is a steadier energy throughout the morning — no crash, just clean, quiet clarity.

🌿 Plant-Forward ✦ Whole Ingredients 💛 Nourishing
🥬

"I was hesitant about green smoothies for a long time — I didn't trust that they'd taste good. What I discovered is that frozen mango is the key ingredient that makes the greens completely disappear, flavor-wise."

"Here's what I learned: blend the greens with liquid first, then add the rest. It eliminates that leafy texture some people find off-putting. You might find that this becomes your most-reached-for recipe."

🌿 Ingredients

  • 2 large handfuls fresh spinach or kale
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango or pineapple
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter or peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds or chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk or coconut water
  • ½ teaspoon spirulina powder (optional)
  • Ice to taste

✦ How I Prepare It

  1. Add greens to the blender first with the liquid — this helps them break down completely.
  2. Add frozen fruit on top of the greens.
  3. Spoon in nut butter and seeds.
  4. Add spirulina if using — start with ¼ teaspoon if it's new to you.
  5. Blend on high for 60 seconds. The longer blend creates a silkier texture.
